Last Thoughts at the End of American Democracy

If Muskrat was willing to spend so much money buying the shit show that will be the Grump presidency, it doesn’t speak well for his business acumen.

We can’t even claim to have the best government money can buy.

From here on I pledge to be less devoted to the concept of a united states and more willing to entertain the notion of letting the South secede. Values are more important than tradition. The people are more important than the party.

Conservatism is based on fear of losing their privileged status and hatred toward those who they think are stealing their status. And now with Grump they’ll focus their aggression on those who Grump tells them to hate. Tomorrow we become a fascist theocracy run by oligarchs.

I’m not sure who’s going to suffer more in the next 4 years; those of us who know what Grump is capable of or those who worshipped him. We’ll pay for our love of democracy. They’ll pay for their love of Grump.

So Pence is going to Grump’s coronation, after Grandpa just insulted him in a post. Pence must be a true masochist. Or he simply has no pride or honor. He’s totally feckless.

We thought we were headed into a future like Star Trek. Instead it looks like we’re headed into a future more like Blade Runner.
