Donald J. Trump 45th and most unforgettable President of the United States May 13, 2025
His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Amir of the State of Qatar Amiri Diwan Doha, Qatar
Your Highness,
Let me just start by saying: WOW. What a plane! Truly the most incredible airplane I’ve ever seen—and I’ve seen a lot of planes. Some say I have the best taste in planes. Maybe ever. But this one?
If the past and future were as real as this moment, you could be there, like you’re here now. But you can’t, you can only imagine you’re there. So evidently they only exist in your mind, in your memories and your imagination. They are not real. They can be relevant for teaching or planning, but they will never exist like this moment exists. This moment is what life is. Live this moment to its fullest.
We should look back at how the white man treated the indigenous people in this country to see an example of how the rich will treat the 99%.
MAGA cry, “you will not replace us”. Fools, you’ve already been replaced. You are of no more value to the oligarchs than any black person, any brown person, any Jew or Muslim. MAGA is fighting skirmishes while the 1% is fighting, and so far, winning a war.
The two most privileged groups of people in America, white males and Christians, are destroying democracy simply to hold on to that privileged status.
But have they considered what good that privilege will do them in the country they’re creating?
Panic and fear are their demons.
Trump and his Project 2025 backers are nationalists, isolationists, who seem to think we’d be better off all on our own and keep everything here (except wars, they love the financial benefits of wars to them).
Isolationism is impossible in this modern world-wide economy.
Protectionism is nonsensical when nearly every nation in the world depends on international trade, even us. We can’t possibly produce everything we need to survive and grow.
I wonder when Muskovich’s flunkies who do his bidding are going to realize that what they’re doing is going to have a negative impact on their future? They aren’t billionaires, they likely aren’t even millionaires. Their proximity to power has no lasting value. They’re dupes.
It amazes me that Congress is going to stand by while Trump neuters them. Their decisions are dust in the wind. He cares no more about their responsibilities under the Constitution than he cares about the Constitution itself.
We no longer have three co-equal branches of government. We have Trump.
I’m swiftly coming to the conclusion that the best days of both America and the Internet are behind us.
Both have failed to achieve their potential.
Both have been corrupted by bad actors and capitalism.
If you’re a college student supporting Palestine prepare to be deported. Dissent is no longer tolerated, the 1st Amendment no longer is respected.
If you dare challenge Trump, prepare to be harassed, persecuted, and investigated.
Trump has proven the he hires and fires not based on DEI, not based on merit, but based solely on loyalty to himself. Even patriotism isn’t a metric he cares about. Loyalty, obedience, and the willingness to debase yourself for him.
For years I’ve wondered who “they” were. You know, “They’re coming for your guns”, “They hate Jesus”, “They are the deep state”, “They want to destroy the country”.
Now we know.
“They” are the MAGAts who slavishly follow Trump.
Putin wants Trump to destroy the federal government and leave everything to the states. Why? Because it’s easier to conquer one state at a time than it would be to conquer a United States. He’ll take the red states first. When you’re starving you’ll take food from anyone.
Russia may want to conquer us politically, but China has already conquered us in the marketplace. Look at all the things you use. I bet a majority of them are made in China. If China cut off exports to the US the few things left on the shelves would be sold for hundreds of dollars.
It goes to show how ridiculous the promise to bring back American manufacturing is. We can’t make many of the things we import from China, and because of our wages (which honestly should be higher) would make prices prohibitively expensive, especially for us normal people.
Several authors have warned us in their fiction of what is happening now. It Can’t Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis, Steven Jonas' The 15% Solution, and Looking Backward:2000 to 1887, written in 1888 by Edward Bellamy, are prime examples. But we haven’t learned from history or literature. So now, this.
We are no longer the United States of America. Political and ideological differences divide us.
Nor are we America. Three countries share that name.
We aren’t even North America, as that includes Canada, who must regret that association.
So who are we? What are we?
What are we becoming?
The Criminal in Chief has invoked emergency war powers. Supposedly this is geared toward Mexican gang members but don’t be surprised when it’s applied to dissidents and anyone else who displeases the emperor.
I asked ChatGPT to present an argument supporting fascism over democracy. It sounds reasonable, even logical. This is the sort of state sponsored propaganda we can expect to encounter in the next few years.
“A Call for Strength and Order in a Time of Chaos
Citizens,
For too long, we have been told that democracy is the highest form of government, an unquestionable good that guarantees liberty and prosperity. Yet, in practice, we have seen it descend into dysfunction, weakness, and division.
In the debate over our place in the universe and what life and consciousness are, there is one possibility that rarely gets addressed and yet is just as probable as any other hypothesis.
The question “why” is in valid and has no meaning in the conversation of reality. It is because it is. No reason, no motivation, no purpose, no predetermination.
This universe exists because it’s the version that became existent.
